Széchenyi Baths is one of the grandest spa complexes in Budapest, located at the edge of the great green space of City Park. It offers a multitude of activities beyond taking a dip in the healing thermal waters. Széchenyi Baths are also a great option for families with kids, with lots of fun things to do in the water. There are various different kinds of tickets for Széchenyi Baths. Here are the details of the most common tickets and prices, but remember they can be changed without prior notice.
Ticket prices are shown in Hungarian forints and euros.
A full-day ticket to the baths with the use of a cabin is HUF 6,300 on weekdays and HUF 6,500 at weekends and public holidays. A full-day fast-track ticket with cabin costs €21 on weekdays and €22 at weekends and public holidays. The pool party ticket, valid from 10:30 pm to 3 am at the weekend costs €50 standard and €65 with drinks. If you are content with a locker rather than a cabin, the price of a full-day ticket for Széchenyi Baths is HUF 5,800 on weekdays and HUF 6,000 at weekends. After 7 pm, a cabin ticket costs HUF 5,400/5,600 (weekdays/weekends), and a locker ticket, HUF 4,900/5,100. There is also a visitor ticket (HUF 3,000) for a guided tour of the Széchenyi Baths, only on weekdays.
Many services at Széchenyi Baths are charged separately. You pay HUF 7,900 for a 20-minute thermal massage and HUF 7,400 for a 20-minute aroma relax massage. A 45-minute harmony aroma massage at the baths cost HUF 16,300, and a pedicure costs HUF 4,200. You can also invest in combined Széchenyi Baths tickets with massage packages, or combine other tickets with varieties of massage packages. All of these may be bought at the ticket desk. You can also buy a ticket online and skip the queue.
A Budapest Card gives you discounts on the price of most tickets. Some tickets give you the use of a locker where you can store your things, and others give access to a private changing cabin where you can also store your things. Discount tickets for the spa party in Széchenyi Baths are different from the daytime tickets and are not subject to a Budapest Card discount. Discounts for the Széchenyi Spa Party are given, however, for groups of ten or more. There is also a free ticket after every ten people.
Online Bath Tickets
The peak months in Széchenyi Baths are June, July and August, when there are usually long queues at the ticket desk. If you are looking for quicker access, you can opt to pay an extra euro or two and buy a fast-track ticket. Fast-track online tickets, unlike their ticket-desk counterparts, are not eligible for a Budapest Card discount.
