Pick the “Red Army” package and try various Soviet firearms. Want to fire a modern replica of a Colt Single Action like a sheriff? The “Wild West” package was made for you. And if you’re looking for a more modern experience, grab an MP5 or a HK416 to spray up to 10 bullets: the “Black Ops” package covers all your needs. Now, most would think that hanging out at a shooting range is strictly an adult-men-only thing, but Celeritas covers every base. If your significant other or kids would like to join, choose the “Basic Light” package. This gives them an intro to the world of firearms: thanks to .22 Long Rifle rounds, they’ll get to shoot a handful of guns without a massive recoil or muzzle flash.

Now, onto the pricing. Like every shooting range, Celeritas’ prices might seem a little steep at first. 2. Bunker shooting – make the experience!

Bunker shooting is basically a still-functional air raid shelter, which serves as the perfect setting for trying out the largest armory in the entire city. To support this bold statement, just consider the following list of firearms that you can try out: a trio of Desert Eagles, a Winchester Shotgun, an M1 Garand, a 9mm Hi-Point, or the legendary sniper rifle SVD Dragunov. And if you’re aiming for some tough guy vibes (and feel strong enough to handle its recoil), pull the trigger and lay vast on your targets with a massive MG-42.

Now, just like in Celeritas’s case, Bunker shooting also offers various packages to visitors which gradually get more expensive as you increase the caliber. A Beginner package costs you a mere 29€ and lets you fire 4 different .22 caliber firearms for a total of 56 shots; the Abundance package lets you spray 55 bullets with 6 guns for a price of €54; and the Tough Guy package allows you to try 7 of the highest caliber weapons with a 64€ price tag. What’s even better is that Bunker shooting is located close to the city center: they even offer a pick-up and drop-off with their own minibus. We’ll definitely recommend this place!

The flipside: Visitors might have concerns about the shooting range located in an air raid shelter, but Bunker shooting sports a proper ventilation system to keep the air from getting stuffy.

3. Budapest Shooting – try shooting like a pro

While probably not a finalist in the highly contested “Top Creatively Named Shooting Ranges” category, Budapest Shooting is probably the best shooting range not only in the city, but also in the entire country. Located right in the heart of city, Budapest Shooting checks every item on the list: with its vast armory, superb facilities, and well-trained staff, you’re in for a premium shooting range experience. Are you uncertain of which gun to pick? Choose literally any gun you’ve just seen in the movies: from American Assassin through Deadpool all the way to the special forces of the Suicide Squad, Budapest Shooting’s armory has all range of guns the biggest action movie stars fire in blockbuster movies. Moreover, the indoor shooting range has a very friendly staff too, who are always ready to help.

As for the packages, you’ll have to pick a Standard package, and then, if you feel like spicing things up a little, you can select an Add-on. The selection of firearms are wonderful. This way, you can try something as basic as the Rookie package, firing 7 weapons and 57 bullets for the price of 75€; but you can also go for a combo: the Punisher package lets you fire 30 shots with 8 different weapons for 85€, and with an Add-on option like Full Auto, you’ll get an extra 45 bullets with 3 weapons for another 45€.The flipside: While you can truly mix and match any package with any Add-on, it’ll end up costing you quite a bit. The flat prices at Budapest Shooting might seem intriguing at first, but without any cheaper package options, be prepared to spend a little more than at other ranges. Amazing experience guaranteed!

4. King of Shooting

Boasting shooting ranges in 12 major Eastern-European cities, King of Shooting is more than just an honorable mention. Although it sports a modest range of weapons (10 to be more precise), it definitely gets an award for its package naming. “Get Him Out of the Way” lets you fire three guns (22 bullets each) for 49€; “Please, Don’t Do It!” will definitely ask you to do it with 3 different guns (20 bullets for the price of 65€); and for filling your testosterone gauge fully, just go with “I am the King of this Planet!”: this package lets you fire all 10 guns (60 bullets) for a grand total of 139€.

King of Shooting (located close to Árpád híd, one of the main bridges in the capital) is actually an exceptional place thanks to its service. Each package includes a safety training, a dedicated shooting instructor (English speaking if need be), plus a shooting diploma (just picture a framed diploma hanging on your wall, awarded to you for being the king of this planet).

The flipside: As mentioned earlier, King of Shooting has probably the smallest range of weapons on our list. Book them only if you are not too picky.

5. Shooting adventure at Stag shoot Budapest

The flipside: The only flipside might be its relatively low wow factor: with Bunker Shooting’s unique location and Budapest Shooting’s poshest range in the city, Stag shoot is seemingly dwarfed by its competitors.
