Introduction

Aquaworld Budapest is one of Europe’s largest indoor water theme parks. The park features seventeen pools, which include a swimming pool, a surf pool, a wave pool, and 11 slides. Aquaworld is a family-friendly destination during your visit to Budapest. Young children will immediately head for Kids’ World, a separate area offering all kinds of activities, including a children’s pool, a playhouse, and slides. And never mind the season: Aquaworld is an all year round destination and it promises to give you an experience that will linger in your mind for a long time.

Aquaworld Resort Budapest gives tourists direct access to the theme park. The hotel is on the northern outskirts of the city, not far from the M0 motorway and about 30 minutes’ drive from the city centre. The park is surely a great family destination for hot days.

Visiting Aquaworld Budapest

Fifteen of Aquaworld’s seventeen pools are open all year round. One large indoor pool is connected to a heated outdoor pool which is open all through the year. You get a real seaside holiday experience when you splash about in the wave pool and you can do real surfing – on special indoor surf boards – in the surf pool, which is big enough for competitions. If you want some challenging exercise, head for the 25m swimming pool with a 3m diving tower. You can also visit the indoor adventure pool which features eleven slides that are about 1km in length. For a nerve-wracking experience, you can climb up 17m for a ride on the highest slide. The park also has a water slide that can take three people side by side, and there is also an onion slide. For even more excitement, you can explore the 180m-long mountain river surrounded by steep rocks.

Kids’ World

Kids’ World occupies a whole wing and is packed with all sorts of attractions. It has its own changing room and features slides, pools and playhouses. The highlight of kids’ world is the indoor children’s pool, of various depths and special slides that children love.
